it's probably my favorite day out of the year: the day of the Tony Awards. it's june, the sun is shining and the most talented people on Broadway are all in one room. i have religiously watched for years and taped them since 2000. i don't get to NYC nearly as much as i'd like, so the Tony Awards are my (and everyone else's) chance to see what's new on Broadway. i can't tell you how excited that makes me. i know i sound crazy, but this is the thing i get PASSIONATE about more than anything (besides relationships). so, last year Idina Menzel won the Tony for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for WICKED and i don't know what could top that for me, but we shall see tonight... Bernadette is performing something tonight! as well as Jesse Martin (original RENT cast)! i am slightly excited. slightly. p.s. Philip Bosco... break a leg.
